BURDEN - A HOLE IN THE SHELL (DIGI PACK) CD

This band have a big sound, very anthemic, down tuned and a little like Soundgarden in parts. A good mixture of stoner, doom & rock, this band seem to be on the up with support slots with the likes of Soulfly & Kyuss, they will soon be headlining their own big gigs. Only a couple of album filler tracks here but most of them very good for a debut album. A great opening track in “Bless The Broken” then rips into the excellent “Done With Denial” which is my personal favourite. It then keeps going with slow VERY heavy songs throughout the rest of the album. Expect to hear this German band more & more over the next few years
