Heavy Metal from Sweden always had a special sound, melodic and emotional, combined with youthful energy and passion. Among legendary acts from Sweden, like Heavy Load and the band of guitar virtuoso Yngwie Malmsteen, there was also Silver Mountain! Formed in the late '70s by guitarist Jonas Hansson, in 1980 Silver Mountain recorded a demo that set new standards in the Swedish heavy metal sound. Influenced by Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow and the New Wave of British Heavy Metal bands, Silver Mountain became one of Sweden's finest bands!
