The first official re-issue of ASTAROTH’s cult 1985 EP “The Long Loud Silence”, a milestone of Underground Heavy Metal, including 3 bonus tracks from the 1984 demo.

In the mid '80s, ASTAROTH was one of the brightest stars of European Heavy Metal. With their original, ahead-of-its-time sound, they were the first Italian band ever to sign a deal with a foreign label. After years spent honing their craft both in the rehearsal room and the stage, “The Long Loud Silence” was released by Dutch entity Rave On Records. Suddenly the metal community knew that even a peripheral country like Italy could produce some fresh and brilliant Heavy Metal!
